The subject matter of the papers to be presented includes all the cognitive subjects of the science of Radiation Technology and may cover any application of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.

ABSTRACT WRITING INSTRUCTIONS

Abstracts must strictly follow the following structure:

Summary structure

Title

  • Clear and concise
  • Representative of the purpose of the work
  • No full stop at the end
  • Avoid capital letters (except in acronyms)

Introduction/Background

  • Brief description of the field
  • Clear statement of purpose

Materials and Methods

  • Methodology description
  • For studies:
    • participants (inclusion/exclusion criteria)
    • data collection method
    • time period
    • data analysis (e.g.SPSS, thematic analysis)
  • For reviews:
    • databases
    • search time range

Results

  • Number of participants/studies
  • Presentation of key findings
  • Absolute & relative frequencies (where applicable)

Conclusions

  • Main conclusions
  • 1 – 2 suggestions for future research

Ethics

  • Ethics Committee + protocol number
  • or justification for not requiring approval
